During this introduction to Mindfulness & Meditation we cover an 8 week programme which will give you many techniques and tools to take away with you, and if you choose to incorporate them into your daily life they can help to move you towards more peace and awareness within yourself, your life and that which goes on around you.
This course will provide you with a structure to assist you in cultivating mindfulness and acceptance into your daily life. It will help you begin to come more into the present instead of your mind and thoughts taking you into the past or into the future as if on auto-pilot! Incorporated in the sessions are meditations, awareness techniques for the body, mind, spirit and emotions as well as some inquiry, dialogue and reflection for the purpose of learning.
What we will consider during the 8 week course:-
Each week we meet for 2 hours and you will be provided with notes and handouts along the way. For therapists this can obviously contribute towards CPD points.
No experience necessary, all are welcome.
