Gill came to me in 2003 with a view to reducing her stress levels. She chose to have a Reiki treatment and because she was so impressed with what she received from the first session, she booked in again the following week!

Gill says:-

"Many people know how working in the City brings with it various stresses and strains. My husband and I had been trying for a family for a few months, but I was aware that due to work pressures, traveling to and from the City each day on the train, running a home and having a good time(!), my body wasn't as relaxed as it could have been. To give myself a chance and have my whole body feel relaxed I decided to give Reiki a go. Having the treatment gave me a most amazing sense of calm and feeling of security. I liked the idea of my whole body being balanced in a holistic way and not just having part of my body treated, such as my feet or my back. I believe that Reiki helped stabilize me internally and externally and I sensed more of a balance between my emotional and physical wellbeing afterwards. It definitely helped reduce my stress levels, which I believe in turn allowed me to conceive quicker than I would have, if I hadn't had Reiki.

My baby, Harvey, was born 5 weeks premature and at 4 weeks old he was suffering from reflux, stomach and digestion problems, so I asked Carmen to give him Reiki. He didn't seem to like it on his tummy but as soon as she held his back he stopped grizzling. He calmed down straight away and to our amazement he cooed and smiled continually whilst having the Reiki. Afterwards, Harvey continued to remain calm and he was so placid. Reiki definitely helped ease the severity of Harvey's condition.

I would recommend Reiki to anyone and for whatever reason you are considering having it, whether it's yourself, a member of your family or a friend and at whatever age they are. If I was going to give my baby any therapy, I would always choose Reiki and I would always recommend it. It is non-invasive, natural, holistic, there are no negative side-effects and it can only do good."
